Down for everyone, or just you?
This check loads the site from Cloudhim’s server, not from your device. If it loads here but not for you, the problem is between you and the site: your internet connection, your DNS cache, a browser extension, a VPN, or a firewall blocking your network. If it fails here too, the site really is down, and the result shows at which step: DNS, the connection, HTTPS, or the application itself.
What common errors mean
- DNS doesn't resolve: the domain has expired, its name servers changed, or the A record was deleted.
- Connection refused: the server is online but the web server (Nginx, Apache, Caddy) isn't running, or a firewall rejects the port.
- Timed out: the server is overloaded, powered off, or a firewall silently drops traffic.
- 502 Bad Gateway: the web server works but the application behind it (PHP-FPM, a Node or Docker app) has stopped or listens on another address.
- 504 Gateway Timeout: the application is too slow, often a stuck database query or too few PHP workers.
- Cloudflare 521, 522, 523: Cloudflare is fine but can't reach your server: it's down, or its firewall blocks Cloudflare's IP ranges.
Privacy
The address is fetched once from Cloudhim’s server, following up to six redirects. Only public internet addresses are reached, and the result is kept for 20 seconds.
